Faustino started the ‘Art Collection’ line with a spin on their iconic main labels.-  – The old merchants were the ones in charge of taking the wine throughout all the countries of the world. For this reason, and because of the family’s passion for art, the 3rd generation of Bodegas Faustino chose Rembrandt’s portrait of the Dutch merchant Nicolaes Van Bambeeck to represent this spirit on their labels.-  The Faustino Art Collection is a very approachable line of wines, all with labels that have an intrepretation of this famous portrait.

This wine is a Crianza tempranillo from the Rioja region in Spain that spends a minimum of one year in oak barrels before release.-  Clean, bright, medium layer. Beautiful cherry red color with garnet evolution. Intense. Barrel notes are very present. Sweet sensations, lightly toasted. Very well integrated with notes of slightly ripe fruits of the forest.

Pleasant in the mouth. The tannins are very well integrated, round. Medium finish marked by toasted barrels.

It matches with any kind of meat and mushrooms rice. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
