We preserve the time-honoured method of making whisky by ageing it longer for a fuller, smoother, richer taste. While Canadian whisky must be aged a minimum of 3 years by law, Gibson’s Finest Rare is aged for a minimum of 12 years to provide sophisticated character.
NOSE: Fruity with subtle oaky notes. Aromas of caramel custard and butterscotch with a fruity-finished nose.
PALATE: Sweet and silky, with citrus zest, oaky notes, spiced white pepper and hints of zesty ginger. A full-bodied and creamy mouthfeel, with toffee notes and caramelised sugar.
FINISH: Medium to long, warm and peppery, with some sweetness on the finish.
