Megan’s Notes
I’ve always been drawn to varietals ‘off the beaten track’;.Picpoul certainly qualifies. This ancient grape is mainly grown in the Languedoc region of southern France, used in blends, as well as a straight varietal wine. This particular Picpoul comes from Pinet, a village famous for making crisp, bright 100% Picpoul wines. This wine is very zippy with briny citrus notes….a natural with seafood, and very affordable! Spring is on it’s way!!!
