Some of you may remember our Rhubarb Gin, a very special release from last year. It was absolutely delicious, and a tasting room favourite. But one day someone asked “what cocktails use rhubarb and gin?”… and the room went quiet. After hours poring over dog-eared dusty bartending bibles, we finally struck gold with an obscure take on the Old Fashioned. The High Fashion mixes gin, citrus, elderflower and rhubarb into a complex, spirit forward cocktail. We took our Rhubarb Gin, added pounds of fresh grapefruit and finished it with house made elderflower syrup. The result is bright and juicy, with subtle floral notes and a tart, herbaceous backbone.
