The secret to our Single Grain is in choosing the highest quality spirits and maturing them in our hand-selected Bourbon casks from USA and rare Marsala cask from one of the oldest Sicilian wineries รข Cantine Florio 1833. The Busker Single Grain is a light, pale straw-colored whiskey. The taste begins by offering sweet caramel and moving to soft vanilla and oak notes. On the palate you will experience notes of caramel, vanilla, oak and hay. The finish is a long, dry and sweet.
Adam’s Notes
On the nose, Busker Single Grain has a sweet aroma of caramel and vanilla, with hints of honey and toasted oak from the ex-bourbon casks. There’s also an underlying fruity note, reminiscent of ripe gooseberries.
On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and creamy, with flavors of sweet vanilla and toffee upfront, followed by a slight spice kick and a hint of nuttiness. The wheat grain used in the distillation process adds a subtle biscuity flavor, like fluffy pancakes.
As the whiskey lingers, the fruit notes become more pronounced, with a tangy acidity that balances out the sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with classic American oak notes and a touch of sweetness.
Overall, Busker Single Grain is a delicious and approachable whiskey, with a pleasant combination of sweet and fruity notes. The use of both ex-bourbon and ex-marsala casks adds complexity and depth to the whiskey, while the wheat grain gives it a unique character.
