Come and take part in the 20th Edition of The Victoria Whisky Festival. One of the world’s best whisky shows, this volunteer-run festival raises thousands of dollars for charity every year, and we’re lucky to have it right here in Victoria BC. Suppliers from all over the world gather to showcase their spirits to a crowd of enthusiastic whisky lovers.

The Whisky and Chocolate Masterclass (Women Only)
with Viola Van de Ruyt featuring Hot Chocolates from Courtenay BC

This will be a masterclass for women to either start or further their whisky journey as part of a one hour masterclass featuring 5 excellent single malts.

Chocolate is the perfect pairing for whisky and we are partnering with Hot Chocolates of Courtenay to ensure a very special tasting. If you enjoy your whisky experience to be paired with not only chocolate, but also a growth in knowledge in a fun social atmosphere, then this is the class for you.

This class will be led by Viola Van de Ruyt, Victoria Whisky Festival Director, and along with her husband, has run and presented tastings for the Sidney Companions of the Quaich for over ten years.

NOTE: This is a single event ticket, and does not include a ticket to the Saturday night event.

Tickets will be available for pickup at The Strath 72 hours after receiving confirmation of your order. Tickets that have not been picked up by Thursday January 15th will be taken to the festival and will only be available to pick up from our pop-up store in the hotel lobby.
