Imagine lying on a comfortable reclining sun lounger on the veranda of a beach house with a Planter-s Punch cocktail:-  rum, fresh lime juice, Angostura bitters and sugar cane juice. On the palate neat there was plenty of spice adding to the -one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong and four of weak-!

Some -weak- (water) and the scent was sweet, floral fresh, mint and lime, lemon sorbet as well as coconut water and the taste fizzy and playful, vanilla sweetness and juicy – sunshine in a glass. After 8 years in an ex-bourbon barrel, we transferred this whisky into a refill barrel that previously matured rum from Belize.
