Not quite a Sancerre (but not quite a Sancerre price either!).-  The Coteaux du Giennois is a lesser-known appellation in the Loire Valley that only allows Sauvignon Blanc in their white wines.-  This cuvee is a careful blend of the best grapes, exclusively from the Domaine vineyards, that have thrived until ripeness on a calcerous and silex-full terroir.-  Pascal Jolivet practices a minimalist winemaking style, allowing nature to take it-s course. Each of his white wines is produced using exclusively native yeasts, and entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel. All parcels are vinified separately until final blending and bottling.

The purest and most quintessential expression of Sauvignon Blanc: white blossom, peach, lemon and lime on the nose. The palate is vibrant, floral and juicy with a finish on quince jelly. Vivid minerality and fresh acidity. The finish is elegant but persistent and intense.
