Classic refill wood profile we thought. Straight away we noted charming aromas of canvas satchel, pencil cases,-  bergamot, lanolin and plain buttered toast. Water brought out pressed flowers, samphire, young calvados and Sandalwood with a kiss of pear cider.

The palate opened with a deft lightness at first but gradually became warmer, spicier and showing notes of white pepper, stone fruits, cooking oils and soft dessert wines. With water we got a soft waxiness, snapped twigs, turmeric, light fudge and vanilla tablet notes then a left field hit of Bombay mix.
