SPEY Fūmāre Cask Strength Batch 3 is an annual release from the Speyside Distillery. Fumare was the first ever peated distillery bottling from Speyside Distillers, produced from peated barley which the distillery only used for a small amount of time each year. 100% matured in bourbon barrels, non chill-filtered and with no added colouring.

Light gold appearance, with a subtle nose. The delicate character of the spirit is evident, though it’s very clear that this is a peated whisky.
The smoke slowly builds in intensity, but with minimal medicinal notes, and increased sweetness. The addition of a few drops of water increase the complexity, and enhance the sweetness & vanilla notes that combine so well with the long, smoky finish.
