Inspired by the fearless spirit of Chōsokabe Motochika, this limited release whisky embodies the bold determination of the Sengoku-period daimyo who unified Shikoku island. The founder of Shinobu Distillery, the Usami family—descendants of Daimyo Usami Sadamitsu from Koshi (modern-day Niigata)—drew on this proud heritage to create the Sengoku Samurai Series, honoring the valor and spirit of Japan’s warrior past.

Distilled by master craftsman Tatsuya Usami, this single cask whisky matured exclusively in rare Cognac casks, revealing deep layers of dried fruit, elegant oak, and delicate vanilla. Bottled at cask strength, it offers bold yet refined character—an authentic expression of artisanal excellence.

Each sip is a tribute to Chōsokabe’s legacy, capturing the enduring spirit of the land and history that inspired it.
