Inspired by the resilient spirit of Satake Yoshinobu, this limited release whisky honors the determination of the legendary daimyo who led his clan through the Sengoku period and built a new legacy in Akita. The founder of Shinobu Distillery, the Usami family—descendants of Daimyo Usami Sadamitsu from Koshi (modern-day Niigata)—drew on this proud heritage to create the Sengoku Samurai Series, celebrating the valor and spirit of Japan’s warrior past.

Distilled by Tatsuya Usami, this single cask, cask strength whisky is aged exclusively in Oloroso Sherry butts, delivering bold intensity with refined complexity. Dark fruit, roasted nuts, and sherry sweetness unfold in a rich, elegant, and enduring profile.
