Gordon & MacPhail are back with their absolutely outstanding Speymalt series of Macallans. This one was distilled in 1998 and bottled at an incredible 24 years old, at cask strength with no chill filtration, no colouring and as a single cask release. This whisky is less than 1/5 the price of the official bottling equivalent here in BC (Macallan Sherry Oak 25 for $5350), and is probably one of the best bargains in high-end single malts.
